I think it might be due to forex losses. If we take Pchem as an example, it reported huge losses due to strengthening to RM against USD. Maybe this might be a YTLP case, as MYR has strenghten against USD, GBP and SGD.

Nvidia results is within expectations for the most realistic forecast with lower expection with the bullish forecast. Though earnings momentum is still there but the trend showed a low down in revenue growth and earnings growth. Its still growing but not as fierce as before.. the thing is many are expecting the growth to be continue to over 100% thatbis the danger part. Nothing can grow at fastest pace forever. When the market disappoint then we will see the sell call coming in droves….just be cautious…..no harm ro be more cafeful with ur money.
As regards to ytlp and ytl results though its not a direct comparison with Pchemical but the points are there. Foreign earnings, ringgit strengthen….go figure out. Your guess is as good as mine… it is still a very good stock but…just be careful. Happy hunting! Cheers!

The exposure to foreign currency risk relates to YTL Power International Berhad’s intercompany balances within the Group which will offset each other. As such, there was nosignificant exposure to the Group.

At the reporting date, if the USD had strengthened/weakened by 5% (2021: 5%) against theMYR with all other variable including tax rate being held constant, the profit/(loss) after taxof the Group would have been higher/lower by RM36.6 million (2021 : RM4.4 million).Hence, as disclosed under Note 38(a) of the Notes to the Financial Statements in theAnnual Report, there is no significant exposure to foreign currency risk for the Group.

Based on crystal ball strategy, the most likely outcome is QR out on 22nd Nov, then price will start HIGH TIDE unstoppable. For now, there is a great chance market maker wants the price to lower down to RM3 or even RM2.9 by 22nd Nov before going up towards RM4 starting from 25th Nov.
