Anti YTLP or rather Anti whatever sifu OTB invested in
Three of us led by our leader Koon Yew Yin using the IDS @yewyin33 and two of us BALL CARRIERS ..MrFelixTan aka @edwing9981 aka @ Felix888999 and MrChenKFatt aka @ks55 are JEALOUS and ENVY of sifu otb.
Although sifu is a gentlemen and admit to his mistakes , 3 of us are out right JEALOUS as Mr otb has made alot of money from YTLP which he bought around rm 1.

Among all the stock selection criteria such as dividend yield, cash flow, healthy balance sheet, net tangible asset backing etc, the most powerful criterion or factor to push share up is profit growth. YTL Power reported 5.74 sen EPS for the quarter ending September and 13.16 sen EPS for the quarter ending June. It has reported reduced profit. I does have profit growth and smart investors will sell their holdings. YTL Power share price should drop. Koon Yew Yin

reversal to +ve SINE occurs i.e.

Why non tradeable, non listed warrant affect market sentiment ?
1. Market share price will adjust according after ex-entitlement for warrant, but incoming warrant if non listed, shareholder will not be able to recoup back share paper loss due to market price adjustment after ex for warrant entitlement
Based on bursa formula calculation if apply to current closing price
Adjusted Ex-price YTLP ={ (YTLP closing price x existing share held) x ( Bonus warrant x Exercise price warrant)}/ {Existing share price held x Bonus warrant }
Adjusted YTLP share price is RM 3.416 = {(RM 3.61 x 5) + (1 x RM 2.45)} / {5 x 1}
Remark: Nothing come as FREE, every listed company if declare any cash dividend/ share dividend/special dividend/ capital repayment/bonus /warrant all subject to market share adjustment after ex-date for entitlement either listed like warrant. share dividend or bonus or non-listed like cash dividend, capital repayment or non tradeable warrant like YTL
2. Perception negative is YTL non listed warrant cannot list exchange after ex-entitlement to recoup back their 'paper loss' due to adjustment on their share price. Warrant holder only can recoup back by exercise their conversion price at RM 2.45 into listed share. Based on adjusted share after ex-warrant entitlement RM 3.416 (round up to RM 3.42), shareholder suffer 'paper loss' RM 3.61- RM 3.42 = -19sen/ share. Therefore, shareholder holding 5 YTLP will suffer total RM 0.95 loss. Through entitle 1 warrant conversion at RM 2.45, Assume sell at market price at RM 3.41, warrant holder will recoup back RM 96sen, thus just breakeven.
3. Why so call free warrant if change into listed rather than non listed will change market perception entirely ? These is because listed warrant possesses warrant characteristic such as Gearing, warrant Premium, time factor, allowing warrant share price to trade much higher than theoretical price. Non listed warrant LOSS all these POSITIVE factor
4. As YTLP warrant opt non listed option, it will press warrant holder to exercise their warrant into listed share as soon possible. These is because, some Institution fund/unit trust policy are NOT allowed to hold unlisted share/warrant, these will prompt short term share overhang in the open market once more converted share listed in market, more supply volume will depress share price.
5. Another factor pressure is from retail shareholder rush for conversion as unlisted warrant will affect their ability to recoup back their capital or margin position as if their share is pledge and under 'paper loss' due to adjustment after ex-warrant entitlement
6. Another factor that put high pressure is TIME FACTOR. The earlier converter can avoid dilution earning later as more share listed, YTLP profit will be diluted, EPS will be diluted as conversion capital to YTL need time to generate additional profit to plunge higher volume share base.

However,if shareholders covert them to mother share,they have an instant profit on hand.
Will they not sell?If many shareholders sell at the same period of time,this will put pressure on the mother.

The emphasis is LONG-TERM SHAREHOLDERS.
Non-transferable/non-tradable means …. short term players are going to lose out …. but long-term investors will gain.
Most short-term players (if they have exited) are expected not to take up the warrants anyway and they soon will be forgotten (less man more share and less dilution)
For me, having bought the bulk of my shares at around 60s, I intend to hold YTL+Power as a medium term investment until 2026/7, with plenty of time to convert.
I believe this will be a one time off event, weeding out short term players, including some foreign short-term funds.
The knee-jerk 40s drop (or possibly more in the next few days) will be painful for many short-term players. They have the absolute liberty to throw YTLPower (PE 8) for some other stock such as KOPI (PE 40)
Not a problem for us, longer term players who have a conviction that YTLPower has great potential.
