The effects of Trump administration. Malaysia goods exported to US will be subjected to tariffs. Eg palm oil, electronics parts. Some US firm's may move back to US. and Malaysian may lose their jobs and unemployment increases.. Malaysia will not be able to get advan chips and technology. Less demand for our goods because the American companies are making them with huge subsidies from the tariffs collected. US hoard the wealth and other countries will lower income. It will then affect the incomes of the people of developing countries

PowerSeraya business operations continue showing strength in the month of October after a strong quarter of July-Sept 2024. Wessex Waters and Yes 5G will continue to report decent profits after turning around in Q4 FY2024. All things point to a strong Q1 & Q2 FY2025 coming.

Yesterday Mabel unload PCHEM. Year-to date, the stock, which has been sliding since mid-May, has fallen 29.7%. Just like what happen to Sapnrg recently, anticipation is rising that PetChem might be issuing a negative profit guidance prior to the release of its results later this month. This comes amid expected foreign exchange losses and a step up in depreciation charges at PetChem’s Pengerang facilities. Time to switch back to Utilities, Water with Data Centres mushrooming across South East Asia and YTL Power has all the 3 these incredients.

On surface Trump and Xi Jinping may looks arm-length. However they are good friends on personal level. Unlike KLSE which is still having period, China Big 3, take it positively. Surprisingly, Nikkei is Red is today. Trump victory is definitely a win for Japan equities. So they will join Mulan’s celebration with China upcoming stimulus in the pipeline. If they both can tango and reach an agreement, it could have significant implications for global politics and economics.
